If it moves dirt, lifts a load, compacts a base, powers a site or hauls the result away, we keep it in the yard. Tell us the task — we'll match the machine to the access, the soil and the schedule.
Footings, basements, utilities, ponds and demolition, from a backyard gate to mass excavation.
The utility player. Grade it, load it, haul it, and swap attachments all day long.
Dig and load on one machine, or move real volume when the stockpile is the job.
Cut, fill and finish. Pads, haul roads, subdivisions and reclamation work.
Set trusses, fly block, and move pallets across a rough yard or a plant floor.
Interior slab work through steel erection and exterior finishes, electric or rough terrain.
Water, sewer, conduit and irrigation, with the tooling to cross a driveway without cutting it.
Get the base right the first time, from a trench bottom to a parking lot subgrade.
Everything between the truck chute and the broom finish, plus the tools to cut it back out.
Tear down, size up and haul out. Structural demo, interior strip-out and material recovery.
Wyoming wind and Colorado winters don't stop the schedule. Keep the site lit, powered and thawed.
The machine and the means to move it, on one ticket. Haul your own iron or keep material cycling.
Add an attachment to any skid steer, track loader or excavator on the same ticket. Couplers and hoses go out with the machine.
Rental time runs on the meter, not the calendar. Everything that can show up on your bill is listed below, before the machine leaves the yard.
One shift on the meter, 24 hours of possession. Best for a weekend tear-out or a one-day dig.
From [DAY RATE]Seven calendar days, forty meter hours. The rate most bids should be built on.
From [WEEK RATE]For phases, not errands. Ask about term pricing on anything over 90 days.
From [4-WEEK RATE]Equipment is one of the cleanest write-offs in the tax code right now. The mechanism is different depending on whether you rent or buy, so here is both, plainly.
Rental payments are an ordinary and necessary business expense. You deduct what you pay us in the year you pay it — the full amount, including delivery.
First-year expensing is back and permanent. The One Big Beautiful Bill Act restored 100% bonus depreciation under Section 168(k) for qualifying property acquired and placed in service after January 19, 2025.
Work trucks are treated better than passenger vehicles. Weight and bed length decide which rules apply to the vehicle you put on the road.
Figures reflect federal law as of September 2026 and are provided for general information. Wyco Builders is an equipment rental company, not a tax advisor, and nothing here is tax advice. What you can actually deduct depends on your entity, your income and how the equipment is used — confirm it with your CPA before you rely on it.
The yard sits in Cheyenne — under an hour to Fort Collins, about two to Denver, and straight up the interstate to Casper. If your site is off the corridor, we still go; it just changes the freight.
Flat round-trip rate inside [X] miles of the yard. Beyond that, [$ PER MILE] each way. Same-day delivery on anything ordered before [CUTOFF TIME]; next-morning drops are standard.
Not the machine — the job. Depth, access, soil, gate width, how long you need it.
Machine, attachments, freight both ways, protection plan. One number you can bid against.
Dropped where you want it, fueled, with a controls walkaround and the service number on the door.
Rent stops when you call, not when the truck arrives. We pick up and bill what we quoted.
Downtime costs more than the rental does. Everything here is set up around one idea: the machine shows up when it's supposed to, and it works.
Every unit comes off a documented service interval before it goes out again. Filters, fluids, undercarriage, hoses, safety systems.
Cheyenne is the hinge between northern Colorado and southeastern Wyoming. Front Range availability without Front Range wait times.
A breakdown gets a person and a truck. You don't pay rent for hours you spent waiting on us.
Freight, fuel, protection and overage are quoted up front. Repeat contractors get standing rates and terms.
You need either a certificate of insurance with general liability and an equipment floater naming Wyco Builders as additional insured and loss payee, or our rental protection plan at [X]% of the rental. Send the COI once and we keep it on file.
Yes, on compact equipment — mini excavators, skid steers, compaction and tools — with a valid driver's license and a card on file. Larger iron goes to licensed contractors or comes with an operator.
Equipment rental for business use is generally an ordinary business expense, deductible in full in the year you pay it. Buying is different: purchased equipment can qualify for 100% first-year bonus depreciation or Section 179 expensing. Which route makes sense depends on your entity and income, so talk to your CPA rather than to us.
By the hour meter: 8 hours a day, 40 a week, 160 over four weeks. Run more than that and the extra hours bill at the overage rate on your quote. Sitting idle over a weekend doesn't add hours.
Call the number on the door. Mechanical failure is on us — we fix it on site or swap the unit, and you don't pay rent for the downtime. Damage from misuse, abuse or running it out of fluids is on the renter.
Yes. Dump trucks, water trucks, flatbeds, service trucks and equipment trailers go out on the same ticket as the machine, so you're not chasing two vendors to get iron onto a site.
Anything past 90 days gets term pricing, and we'll apply a share of rent toward purchase on units we're cycling out of the fleet. Ask what's coming available.
Quotes back the same business day. Delivery across Wyoming and Colorado.
